Care & maintenance
Look after your board and it will serve you for years
Never put hot pots or pans on the board
The cutting surface is polyethylene. Heat above 150°F melts and permanently warps it. Keep it away from hot pots, pans, ovens, grills and stovetops. Warranty doesn't cover heat damage.
The board
- Wash with warm water, dish soap and a cloth or scrubbing sponge.
- It's too large for a home dishwasher, so wash it by hand.
- For stains, wipe on a little kitchen bleach with a cloth, wipe it off, then rinse and wash with soap and water.
- Any cleaner approved for kitchen use is fine.
- Avoid hard knocks on the edges and corners, which can dent the board for good.
- Knife marks build up with use. That's normal for any cutting board.
Pans & lids
- Lift a pan out by pressing up lightly from underneath. It pops right out.
- Dishwasher safe: place pans face-down and lids upright, like dinner plates.
- For burnt-on or stained spots, use a kitchen scrubbing compound, then wash with soap and water.
