Before & after
From kitchen chaos to a board that's ready to serve
Same ingredients, same knife. The difference is having a place for everything.
BeforeAn ordinary board and a mess
- Chopped food piles up until there's no room left to cut
- Nowhere to put what you've cut, so out come the extra bowls
- Not something you'd set in front of guests
After · DisplayPrepEverything in its place
- Every ingredient goes into its own stainless pan
- A clean, open surface left for cutting
- Ready to serve as it is, or lid it and carry it

How to choose the right board for your needs

Small spaces · high demand
Made for small kitchens and busy shifts
When counter space is tight and orders keep coming, every inch and every trip counts. DisplayPrep puts your whole station on one board.
- Apartment kitchens
- Yacht galleys
- B&B breakfast rooms
- Busy restaurant lines
- Hotel buffets
- Catering setups
Everything together and organized
Every ingredient has its own stainless pan on the same board as your cutting surface. Nothing wanders off across the counter, and you always know where everything is.
Easy to arrange in a cramped space
Your cutting board, prep bowls and serving platter become one 24 × 18 in footprint. Set it down once and your whole station is arranged.
- 03
One board instead of many
Replaces the cutting board, the stack of prep bowls and the serving platter, which frees up counter space you didn't know you had.
- 04
Carry it all in one trip
Two handles move the whole prep through a narrow galley, a hallway or a crowded kitchen in one trip, with no balancing bowls.
- 05
Stays put when it's busy
Four silicone feet keep the board from sliding while you work fast on a crowded counter.
- 06
Lid it and store it
Matching lids cover every pan, so prep can be finished ahead, put away and brought out when service starts.
- 07
Standard hotel-pan sizes
The 1/9, 1/6, 1/2 and full-size pans are standard sizes, so they move straight into your prep rail, steam table or fridge.
- 08
Refill without stopping
Pans lift out with a light push from underneath, so you can swap or refill one without clearing the board.
- 09
Less mess, less waste
Cut food goes straight into a pan instead of over the edge, onto the counter or the floor.
- 10
Ingredients stay separate
Each item keeps to its own pan. That helps with allergies and dietary requests, and keeps flavors apart.
- 11
Fewer dishes in a small sink
One board to wipe down and pans that go in the dishwasher, instead of a sink full of bowls.

FAQ
Good questions
What size is the board?
Every DisplayPrep is 24 × 18 in with a ½ in thick NSF-certified HDPE cutting surface, on an aluminum frame that raises it 3 in off the counter. The only thing that changes between models is the pan layout, or no pans at all on the Essential.
Are the lids included?
Yes. Every pan comes with a matching stainless steel lid, so you can prep ahead, cover it, and carry or refrigerate the whole board.
Which layout should I choose?
If you mainly cut, choose the Essential: the whole board is cutting surface, with no pans. If you want to cut and sort on the same board, choose a Prep + Display model: Prep Trio, Mise Six, Host Trio or Solo. If you mainly serve and present, choose a Display model: Grand Grid, Buffet Six, Duo or Showcase.
How do I clean it?
The pans and lids are dishwasher safe. Lift them out by pressing up from underneath. Wash the board by hand with warm soapy water; it's too large for a home dishwasher. A little kitchen bleach on a cloth lifts stains. Keep the board away from heat above 150°F.
Will it dull my knives?
No. HDPE is gentle on knife edges, and every screw is countersunk flush with the surface, so there's nothing for a blade to catch on.
Where do you ship, and how fast?
We ship to the continental United States and Alaska. Orders ship within 72 hours, guaranteed. Shipping is a flat $27.50 per order, and free on orders of 6 or more boards.
Do you offer custom layouts or volume pricing?
Yes. Restaurants, hotels, B&Bs, caterers and yacht crews can request a quote for bulk orders or a custom pan layout on our Professionals page.
